The Journey
Edgar Acosta is a Colombian American artist and photographer, shaped by life across four continents. Trained in international human rights law, he now turns that curiosity about the human condition into visual language—through layered color on canvas and cinematic, travel-driven portraiture behind the lens.
His current series, The Unseen Forces, explores how lives intersect and diverge, tracing the invisible currents—emotional, social, and internal—that push, pull, and redirect us. Through gesture, rhythm, and movement, Acosta renders moments of connection and distance, asking: What draws us together, and what separates us in the quiet space between?
